Since its foundation in 1998, EMCC has always fostered a friendly and flexible working environment. This has led to a culture that successfully combines informality with extensive support and interaction between staff members.

EMCC has a thriving social scene involving a wide variety of sports and social activities organised by a committee of staff members.
The committee is known as ESCAPE and its purpose is to organise and actively promote all events and to ensure that all tastes are catered for in terms of the activities chosen.
As well organising company wide events, each EMCC office plans its own schedule of activities through its Escape committee members.
Escape makes a positive contribution to the cultural life of EMCC and the number of events taking place has increased dramatically since its inception.
EMCC actively supports the bike-to-work scheme and staff regularly participate in charity cycle runs.

As you might expect at EMCC’s head office, there is a very lively social scene with regular events such as visits to comedy clubs, football tournaments, greyhounds, cricket matches, cycling events and many more.
EMCC organises twice weekly 6-a-side football matches along with internal and external football tournaments very few months. There are also twice weekly games of badminton and regular visits to the climbing centre. The summer months always see an upswing in sports activities such as cricket, pitch and putt, the Manchester-Blackpool charity cycle and even more football with 11-a-side matches.
EMCC Manchester has regular social events such a pool nights, comedy club, go-karting, trips to Bell Vue (greyhounds) and quiz nights.
