EMCC has produced a suite of enabling products that provide enterprise customers with the benefits of new convergence technologies. These products allow mobile phones to be fully integrated with leading PBX systems, make VoIP calls over Wi-Fi and install these applications onto the mobile over the air.
These products are available for leading mobile smartphones on S60, UIQ and Windows Mobile platforms.
EMCC is now delivering these solutions to PBX Vendors, System Integrators, VoIP Service Providers and Mobile Network Operators. These companies are now able to meet the increasing demand from customers seeking significant cost savings and productivity enhancements through mobile integration.
Through utilising these products you leverage the unique experience and knowledge that EMCC has of making these complex solutions work on mobile devices. Organisations that have realised these benefits to date include Avaya, Boingo, Broadsoft, Nokia & Truphone.
In terms of commercial relationship, there are a number of licensing and customisation options available from EMCC for potential partners.
White Label PBX Application
EMCC’s PBX application enables mobile devices to access the full range of enterprise PBX features. The intuitive user interface makes it easy to access useful features such as corporate directory, conference calling, twinning and call transfer. The product can be fully branded and customised to the provider’s specification and is available for GSM and Wi-Fi networks.
VoIP engine
Many handsets on the market now use SIP to deliver VoIP over Wi-Fi however there can be stability and usability issues. To address this EMCC has built a VoIP engine available on S60, UIQ and Windows Mobile platforms. The VoIP engine can be integrated with the PBX application to deliver a full solution, or alternatively, can be licensed to be integrated with a third party application.
Provisioning
Management of multiple mobile handsets in the field using sophisticated telephony applications is a potential support headache. EMCC’s provisioning solution makes it easy to install, setup and manage these applications. The automatic setup process is started by SMS; the provisioning server can then install and update mobile applications as required. This is available as a licensed or hosted solution and can be integrated with other management platforms through web services.
