Handset Development
Through long-term collaboration with handset manufacturers and technology partners, EMCC Software has extensive experience of developing and integrating technology into new devices.
One of the major projects that EMCC has led over the years is the integration of the BlackBerry Connect service onto Sony Ericsson’s UIQ handsets from the P800 right up to the current devices such as the W950i. Implementing all of the service capabilities expected by existing users of BlackBerry Connect has occasionally meant having to create new capabilities within the platform such as meeting requests. EMCC has also added Exchange ActiveSync email capability to Sony Ericsson’s UIQ handsets.
