VoIP Engine

VoIP Engine empowers mobile VoIP services

Most new smartphones have the underlying technologies in place to enable voice calls over IP networks (VoIP) but often require further enhancements to achieve a marketable product that can reliably provide those services. EMCC has developed a VoIP Engine that provides those additional capabilities allowing vendors and service operators to create fully featured VoIP solutions.

EMCC’s VoIP Engine has been designed to overcome the known problems that exist for VoIP service providers. It works with handsets based on S60, UIQ and Windows Mobile platforms. Based on proven SIP and RTP implementations, the VoIP Engine addresses key issues such as accessing internal devices that use NAT (network address translation) while providing simple APIs to support call management, SIP registration, data transfer and network connectivity.

VoIP Engine is available on a licensing basis as a fully signed application and delivered in SISX or CAB file formats for ease of deployment.
